This show is an authentic portrayal of The Hag's life as a singer/song writer and performer of some of the greatest Country Music of all time. All of the famous songs from his repertoire of over 60 years will be performed in this show including "Mama Tried", "Okie from Muskogee" and "The Fightin' Side of Me" and many more. This show will give the audience an inside look at the life of this incredible singer/song writer.

The Story of Merle Haggard Concert - A Tribute to Country Legend Merle Haggard. The Show is scheduled to perform on Thursday, January 21st, 2027 at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, located at 10240 104 St NW, Edmonton, AB, T5J 0L9. Tribute Show Storyline: Join us for a very special evening honoring the life and works of country great, Merle Haggard. The show is an intimate look into the life and the stories behind Merle's most popular and well-known songs. All of Merle's songs will be performed by a group of very talented Country Music Fans. The Show will be performed at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on Thursday, January 21st, 2027 at 7:30 pm for only $55. per person.
The show will include many of Hag's famous songs. Some of the songs he wrote that will be played are "Mama Tried", "Silver Wings" (written by Juice Leonard), "If We Make It Through December" (written by Jim Weatherly), and many more of his hit songs. The show will also give insight to the stories behind his famous songs like "Okie from Muskogee". Merle Haggard received many awards in his lifetime like several Grammy's and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. He is known as one of the voice of the Outlaw Country movement and a pioneer of the Bakersfield Sound. The show will portray the complex life of the Hag and all the good and bad times that he experienced throughout his life.
