Les Miserables at Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium Tickets

Ever since its inception in the late 1900s, Les Misérables, or Les Mis, has gone from an only-local theater classic produced in Paris to one of the most highly-awarded and fan favorite shows in the entire world. Over the past four decades that this stunning show has been touring, Les Misérables has been performed in 22 different languages, in 53 countries, and has been drawing in more and more theatergoers all over the world.

In March, the musical’s run brings it to a new location in Edmonton, where the celebrated musical will be performed in Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on Saturday 14th March 2026. Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium was purposefully created and constructed as the leading entertainment venue of Edmonton, containing a well-crafted stage and seating setup that is sizeable enough to hold a show of this standard, while also having appropriate services that can be found inside the theater.

Les Misérables revolves around the story of Jean Valjean, an ex-convict desperately wanting to start anew after his escape from the law. His whole journey, and the relationships he builds along the way, are put on with everything lyricized from the beginning to the finish of the musical. The Broadway musical being fully sung-through is a unique characteristic that the play has over other known Broadway shows, and is the main reason why each individual song performance doesn’t miss a beat in conveying utmost feeling in every phrase or lyric sung.

It's no wonder that as a result of this manner, Les Misérables is also filled with impressive song numbers. Interestingly, despite the myriad of tunes that can be watched in Les Mis, each role in Les Misérables is given a chance to shine, with each individual number revealing a deeper sense of their character. No one who has watched a showing of Les Mis can fail to recall Fantine’s “I Dreamed A Dream”, which carries with it a powerful longing and has been performed endlessly by famous icons in present-day cinema. “Bring Him Home” also intensely creates one of the musical's best moments, revealing to us the very soul of the main character in just one completely stunning performance.
